Just Go believes that individuals and communities can be transformed when we work in partnership with one another as the result of lasting, trusting relationships.

We are a non-profit organization designed to connect people and their communities with volunteer opportunities around the world. We are currently supporting Joybells School and Orphanage in Northern India and are looking for similar projects else where.

Joybells was a new world for me in a sense, full of the different and exciting, the new and challenging. It was a place where I was able to learn, perhaps strangely, both how small and big I am: small in my limited understanding of the world, so vast and challenging as it is; and large (literally and metaphorically) in proportion to the bright-eyed children who looked up to me so much. As a word to future volunteers, I think it would probably be impossible, even in giving your utmost, to give more than you took away from this place. The children, the orphanage, even India itself, will work wonders upon you if only you give it the space to do so!

My husband and I spent three months as school teachers at Joybells. Taking time away from our jobs to volunteer was one of the best decisions we've ever made. The children GAVE US so much - far more then we could give them - and taught us everyday what it means to work hard, appreciate the simple and care for others. There are so many lessons to be learned when we step outside our own lives. I can't imagine anyone ever regretting time spent loving kids.
